Martingale is one of the strategies that is applied in roulette gamble games to win a bet. This is how it works:
It works by setting a mathematical formula that will raise bets to cover loses. This of course does not demand a math guru! In betting, when using the Martingale system, you are advised to start with the lowest bet allowable. Just remember that your bankroll has a limit to your betting to protect you from loses you are sure to have.
When you start your bet at for example £5, keep betting with similar small units even when your win. Repeat same bet amount until you lose – which you will. With a loss, you can now double your bet, in this case to £10. In the event that you win the round played with a bet of £10, then you would have covered the immediate loss and scored even. However if you lose again, then you have to double and upon winning the third round, you can go back to betting at £5. The goal is to keep taking higher risks to cover loses. This will of course work well as long as you win the round with the higher bet. You therefore have to know when to stop the higher bids otherwise you will leave the casino poorer than when you entered.
The system therefore only works for short periods, it should not be played in more than 6 rounds where you experience six consecutive losses.
